Returns Policy

  • Unopened goods may be returned within 28 days for UK based customers
  • Unopened goods may be returned within 28 days for International customers
  • Faulty items may be returned at any time. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original card that was used for purchase. Please allow 5 working days for the refund to be processed. Please note that this does not include the cost of the delivery.
  • In some circumstances, your delivery charge may be refunded, for example, if your entire order was faulty or incorrect, or if your order has been cancelled under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
  • If goods are damaged, soiled, show signs of wear and tear, or returned without original labels they will not be accepted for refund and will be returned to you.
  • Electronics are not eligible for return or exchange unless the device is in its original packaging and condition.

21 Years of Bliss

Twenty-one years ago, I had an idea that (although I didn’t know it then) would change my life forever. The idea was to provide a one-stop shop for all your tanning needs.

Our latest catalogue marks our 21st issue and over the years we have taken great pride in our cover design and the brands we carry within it. It is interesting that when speaking to customers and industry colleagues over the years they will mention a certain cover.  So this year was an ideal opportunity to showcase all twenty-one of them and to get some of our team to select their own personal favourites.

Chris I couldn’t just choose one cover, so, I’ve chosen two. The very first issue is of course close to my heart. From creating the Bliss name through to gathering together the best lotion brands on the market.

"Our first catalogue was a 24 page issue featuring many of the brands that remain with us today, including Body Drench with UTF and Tan FX, California Tan with Rage Lotion and Max Gel, Power Tan and its bottle in the shape of a sunbed and of course Synergy Tan and Radical Tan."

"My second favourite has to be Issue 20, which featured the colouring design concept. We featured a competition to run with the launch, which resulted in some amazing entries and made me appreciate just how much we have progressed from our very first issue."

"My all time favourite catalogue cover would be our 03/04 issue with the bright dandelion blazing on the front. It makes me think about summer, sunshine and tanning. As we all know in the UK, if dandelions are growing it means tanning season is here!"

"I have to choose the 08/09 cover as my favourite.  The image of the Airfix model sheet with the little lotion bottles and salon accessories along with the strap line ‘Providing you with all the pieces for the perfect tan’. This just sums up Bliss perfectly."

"My favourite Bliss covers are always the most bright and colourful! Issue 15 was both and I loved the detail of the lotion bottles within the graphics."

"A deceptively simple cover, but cleverly executed. This design conveys everything about what Bliss is… the largest distributor of tanning lotions in the UK (there were 1337 bottles shown on the outer cover!)."

"Issue 17 was my choice because of its simplicity; the block yellow cover really stood out and grabbed your interest."

"This cover (Issue 10) represents all the memories of my first show. The catalogue was unveiled with a huge backdrop of the graphic and seeing everyone’s reaction to it was exciting. Our covers have continued to be a great talking point with our customers. They never mistake one of ours."

I’d like to take this opportunity of thanking all those people who have been a part of our journey, including former team members and suppliers who we have great many memories with.  I also want to say a huge thank you to our customers for helping us achieve 21 years of Bliss.
